As a director, Kim Dempster has put her unique signature on numerous media formats, including commercials, music videos, interactive and narrative films. Throughout her work, she has consistently demonstrated a great range of emotion and connection with her audience.
With an extensive body of commercial work, she has directed television campaigns for major brands including Olay®, Pantene®, Estee Lauder®, Tresemme®, Redken®, Crest®, Sprite®, Head & Shoulders®, Wrigley’s®, and Discover Card®.

Kim’s short films have been recognized at many film festivals including Sundance, Chicago and the Los Angeles Film Festival. “The Last Seduction” was picked up by Paramount and “Danny Irvine Always Has A Good Time” by A&E. In 2008 Kim directed “Marmalade” a feature film about two women aging out of the modeling industry and searching for a new life. This inspired her to return to narrative work and write and develop feature projects. Since 2016 Kim has focused on writing. Her award-winning screenplays have already garnered a lot of attention. Kim is aiming to finish her first Novel in 2022.​

The Color of Mourning was a 2017 finalist for Meryl Streep’s – The Writers Lab and Finish Line Script Competition as well as a 2018-semi-finalist for the Academy Nicholl. LOOK-BOOK

The Watchers, her most recent project, a TV series, is attracting attention and has already found a producer partner. LOOK-BOOK
